Vegetable Growing LED Lights

Vegetable cultivation under protected environments demands lighting systems that understand the unique photobiology of food crops. Our vegetable growing LED lighting solutions are developed with crop-specific spectral optimization.

Tomatoes, the world's highest-value greenhouse crop, require high light intensity (400-600 umol/m²/s) with a spectrum rich in red and far-red wavelengths to drive fruit set, development, and sugar accumulation. Our 1000W greenhouse top lights deliver this intensity while the enhanced far-red recipe promotes earlier flowering and increases Brix by 0.5-1.5 degrees.

Lettuce and leafy greens represent the volume leader in controlled environment agriculture, with production cycles as short as 3-5 weeks. Our LED grow light bars for lettuce feature a blue-enhanced spectrum that produces compact, dense heads with short petioles — the morphology that premium markets demand.

Cucumbers and peppers share similar lighting requirements with tomatoes — high intensity, red-weighted spectrum, and long photoperiods during the production season. Our fixtures deliver the PPFD these fruiting vegetables need while the IP65 waterproof construction withstands the frequent overhead irrigation and high humidity typical of cucumber greenhouse production.

Herbs — basil, cilantro, parsley, mint — are increasingly grown in controlled environments. These aromatic crops respond particularly well to our UV-A supplemented spectrum, which increases essential oil concentration and aroma compound production.

Strawberries, though technically a fruit, are increasingly grown in tabletop and gutter systems. Our strawberry-specific light recipe increases anthocyanin development, elevates sugar content, and promotes firmness.

All vegetable production fixtures are certified for food-safe agricultural use. Our engineering team provides free lighting design services including PPFD simulation and layout optimization.
