Commercial Under-Canopy Grow Lights

Put supplemental photons below dense crop canopies without adding more load overhead.

  • Model shortlist for your market
  • Specification and document comparison
  • Sample, branding and production coordination
Commercial cultivation room with linear LED lights installed below a dense plant canopy
Commercial horticultural lighting application.
What it is: Under-canopy lighting uses slim linear fixtures below or beside a dense crop canopy to illuminate lower leaves and flowering sites that receive limited light from overhead fixtures.

Best-fit applications

  • Dense indoor flowering rooms
  • Single-level commercial cultivation
  • Rows with weak lower-canopy PPFD
  • Retrofits where overhead electrical capacity is limited

What we coordinate

  • Candidate supplier platforms matched to voltage, crop and quantity
  • Side-by-side datasheet, control and document review
  • Private label, cable, plug, packaging and spectrum options
  • Sample order, production milestones and pre-shipment inspection handoff

Under-Canopy Grow Lights: buyer questions

Is under-canopy lighting the same as interlighting?

The terms overlap, but under-canopy usually means fixtures placed below a dense indoor canopy. Greenhouse interlighting normally places modules within tall vine crops such as tomatoes or cucumbers.

Can under-canopy bars connect in a row?

Yes. Candidate platforms can be shortlisted for end-to-end or cable daisy-chain layouts. The safe quantity per circuit depends on input voltage, fixture power and connector rating.

What documents can be requested?

Ask for the exact model datasheet, spectrum and photometric files, safety listing or test report applicable to the target market, IP evidence where relevant, warranty terms and installation instructions.

Need certification context? Read the global LED grow light compliance guide.

Have a target spec or competitor model?

Send the link, datasheet or required performance. We will use it as the comparison baseline.
