Greenhouse LED Interlighting

Deliver supplemental light inside tall vine canopies while keeping greenhouse rows serviceable.

  • Model shortlist for your market
  • Specification and document comparison
  • Sample, branding and production coordination
LED interlighting modules suspended within rows of greenhouse tomato plants
Commercial horticultural lighting application.
What it is: Greenhouse interlighting places narrow LED modules within a tall crop canopy so leaves and fruiting zones receive supplemental light from the side, complementing daylight and overhead fixtures.

Best-fit applications

  • High-wire tomatoes
  • Greenhouse cucumbers
  • Peppers and tall vine crops
  • Winter or low-DLI production programs

What we coordinate

  • Candidate supplier platforms matched to voltage, crop and quantity
  • Side-by-side datasheet, control and document review
  • Private label, cable, plug, packaging and spectrum options
  • Sample order, production milestones and pre-shipment inspection handoff

Greenhouse LED Interlighting: buyer questions

When is interlighting useful in a greenhouse?

It is most relevant for tall, dense crops where daylight or top lighting does not distribute well through the full canopy. A crop-light plan should compare it with additional toplighting and account for seasonal daylight.

Does every project use the same spectrum?

No. Crop, season, daylight contribution and commercial objective affect the spectrum and output target. State these inputs before selecting a module.

Can interlighting work with an existing greenhouse controller?

Often yes, provided the selected driver and gateway support the required interface. Include the climate computer or control protocol in the RFQ.

Need certification context? Read the global LED grow light compliance guide.

Have a target spec or competitor model?

Send the link, datasheet or required performance. We will use it as the comparison baseline.
